    Hello, I’m Kerry Adkins, thank you for your interest in our company. I was born and raised in the Birmingham area. I attended Midfield High School and after graduating went to UAB. I met my wife Carol when we were in high school. We dated for several years in high school and college. She went to the University of Alabama where she was a crimsonette in the Million Dollar Band. We were married in 1985, after she came home from Tuscaloosa. We have a son named Gabriel who was born in 1994. Gabriel played always played football growing up, starting with little league, then Pizitz Middle School, Vestavia High School and finally at Samford. I am blessed to have such a wonderful wife and son. We have lived in Vestavia since 1993. We are members of Church of the Highlands and love it there, if you are looking for a cool church come check it out. My father started our company in 1975. During the summers, when I was in high school, I worked as an apprentice in the business. After a couple of years at UAB I decided to go full time in the business in 1983. Wow, that was a long time ago! Am I that old? Anyway, I worked my way up through the business and became certified as a master electrician in 1987. My father retired from this business in 1992 and I have been running it since then. My goal for this business is to improve the lives of our clients and our team. We improve our clients lives by providing outstanding service and making their homes safer and more comfortable. We improve our team’s lives by providing opportunity to grow, learn and earn a good wage in an environment of teamwork and encouragement. If I can manage our business in a way that allows those things to happen I count that as success. This is an ongoing process that is never complete, but we work on it every day. Our mission is, “To provide outstanding service that exceeds the expectations of our clients while improving the professional, personal and financial lives of our team.” I hope we live up to that everyday.
