Children’s Village Christmas Lights
December 6, 2014
I became aware of Children’s Village several years ago through a small group at Church of the Highlands. They provide a safe, Christian home for children that have nowhere else to go. They have a staff of dedicated, loving men and women who have been called to this cause. To learn more about Children’s Village go to www.childrensvillagebham.com We were thinking about how we could brighten the holiday for the children living there and decided to decorate the outside of the homes with Christmas lights. We donated all of the lights and wiring and several of our team members donated their time and energy on Iron Bowl Saturday to accomplish this mission. Our team worked eagerly and diligently and did a great job lighting the homes!
Scott is one the roof with Bobbie on the ladder hanging icicle lights. Jeff, Andrew, Tony, Kevin & Nicole are working on rope lighting for the windows.
