OnTime Service is committed to giving back — not just on Giving Tuesday.
Our latest charitable donation went to The Renaissance Academy Prep School for Boys, which provides college preparatory education in a safe and structured Christian-based environment.
“Carol and I met them a few weeks ago, toured the school and really wanted to help their ministry,” Kerry Adkins said. “Let’s help spread the word on their mission, incredible work, and need.”
The Renaissance Academy Prep School for Boys started as a mentoring program for inner city athletes who wanted to attend college but lacked proper preparatory guidance. Since then, the mentoring program has blossomed into an actual school for young men.
TRA Prep’s motto is “Providing excellence in academics today, for the unlimited opportunities of tomorrow.”
TRA Prep has a 100% graduation rate. Additionally, their juniors and seniors are eligible to receive apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship/craft training through Construction Education Foundation of Alabama (CEFA) and the Young Apprentice program.
We are encouraged and motivated by the incredible work being done at The Renaissance Academy and hope to one day hire some TRA Prep graduates right here at OnTime Service. It’s a great place to work for employees who want to be a part of something much bigger than themselves.
Please help us share the incredible work TRA Prep does for young men in grades 5th-12th and their families and communities.
The Renaissance Academy Prep School for Boys is a non-profit 501c3 organization. They do not receive any government funding to support the educating of these young achievers.
For this reason, The Renaissance Academy Prep School for Boys is always in need of funding. Every donation is tax deductible.
